FAQ

1. How do I go about ordering a sign?

You may have never ordered a sign before, but our team has lots of experience to help you determine what kind of sign will suit your needs. We will work with you to figure out what style and size of sign will best work well and to find a solution that will fit your budget.

2. Can you put my logo on the sign and match the colours?

No problem! We will ask you to supply an electronic format of your logo. We can then incorporate your logo into the layout and match the colour as close as technology allows. Cast and printed vinyl do have limitations but the end result will be consistent.
If you don’t already have a logo, or just want a new updated look, one of our designers would be happy to work with you to create the perfect identity for you.

3. What are some common sign materials?

Some common sign materials are aluminum, wood (crezon or cedar), coroplast, acrylic, banner and many others. If you want something that isn’t listed on our website please ask one of our sales associates and we will be glad to provide more information.

4.What do you need from me to make my sign?

First we need a basic idea of what you would like your sign to convey. This can be a hand drawn sketch or some basic ideas you have been jotting down and one of our designers will work with you to create a layout for your sign.

If you have a layout already prepared by another design firm, the easiest and most cost-efficient way to use that artwork on your sign will be to provide the artwork to us in a useable format. Your designer/sales associate will advise what type of file is needed. You can either email it to your sales associate or upload it via this website. If for some reason the vector artwork isn’t available we can re-create it for you for a reasonable fee.

5. Can I get a price quote to know what my sign will cost? Do I get to see what it will look like first?

Definately! Once we have a general idea of what type of sign will suit your needs we are able to get you a general idea of cost. When the sign layout is finalized we will provide you with a full colour proof, including all pricing and installation charges for you to approve before we go ahead and complete your sign order.

6. I want to order the sign. What next?

Once you have decided to order your sign, we will start working with you on the layout of the sign. At this point we will require a cheque or credit card for a 50% deposit. The balance of the job will be due on completion. We will work with you to create your sign layout and will create a full colour proof of your sign for you to approve. This will include all artwork, sizing, pricing, permit costs and installation costs if required. We then ask that you email or fax back your approval to let us know you are happy with your sign layout.

7. Are you able to ship signs?

We currently ship signs within Canada but have the capacity to also ship internationally if required. Cost of shipping is based on size and weight and some couriers have restrictions. Please talk to your sales associate if you need your sign shipped.

8. How do I install my sign? Do you provide that service if I am not able to do it?

Depending on what type of sign you are ordering we can provide you with detailed instructions of how to apply/install your sign. Most smaller signs can also be installed by a handyman, or local sign installer if you are not located in the Okanagan. We also have the capability to install any type of sign if you require.
